INSEAD - International module of the MBS Masters program: ‘Managing Human Capital’

FEAL offers a scholarship opportunity to attend each module of the program. A scholarship opportunity for the INSEAD - International module on Managing Human Capital will open in December.

About the course

This module will be held at INSEAD Singapore between 12-15th May 2025. It focuses on executive leadership development with an emphasis on leveraging and managing human capital.

The module covers various aspects of leadership, including styles and approaches, high-performance teams, influence, and effective communication. Participants will engage in case studies, discussions, and experiential learning activities to develop a global mindset and understand leadership in different contexts. It culminates in a forum with an emphasis on transforming human capital in a positive and productive way to achieve desired business results, using effective leadership approaches and leveraging of human capital to transform business performance, organisations and cultures.

Learning Objectives:

  • Enhance your ability to lead high-performance teams, influence others, and communicate effectively in diverse business

  • Learn to leverage human capital through motivation, diversity, and strategic leadership practices.

  • Gain insights into your values, emotional intelligence, and personal leadership style to create a personal leadership agenda for ongoing development.

Please note: Each module of the FEAL MBS Masters of Organisational Leadership can be undertaken on a standalone basis and does not commit you to completion of the full Masters Program.

Unless you have previously enrolled, you will need to enroll with the Melbourne Business School to complete the module. To do this, download and complete an Application Form and return to FEAL with the supporting documentation. Please note new enrolments can take 2-3 weeks for processing.

If you have previously enrolled with the Melbourne Business School - either for the FEAL/MBS Masters Program or any other course - you do not need to complete the Application Forum again. Please email Katrina Bacon, CEO, FEAL katrina.bacon@feal.asn.au to advise your intention to complete this module.

ABOUT THE LECTURER: Professor Ian Woodward specialises in leadership and communication. He developed the concept of ‘communication intelligence’, and designed the Communication Preference Styles Survey (CPSS) to help leaders become more aware and effective communicators. He brings a unique combination of global business, government, communication and arts to executive education, for instance, by blending leadership development with the arts through innovative learning experiences using orchestras and musicians.

Professor Ian Woodward is the Programme Director for INSEAD's most senior flagship leadership programme, the Advanced Management Programme (AMP), for more than a decade. He has had more than 500 C-suite level leaders from pharma, biotech, medical devices and life science companies from around the world for their leadership development in the AMP during this period.
