The Executive Colloquium
The Executive Colloquium brings together twenty leaders from the highest levels across many sectors to grapple with ethical challenges and explore frameworks for responses. Using the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership’s distinct method of shared enquiry, this is a rare opportunity for critical reflection in a private environment among peers.
The Executive Colloquium offers a leadership course unlike any other. Participants will be challenged, be able to crystallise arguments core to their decision-making stemming from two and a half millennia of philosophical thought, and spend a week immersed in respectful debate about what they stand for, and what they will allow. Cranlana’s expert team refines and shapes their ethics courses to reflect the realities of the contemporary business and political environment, and the challenges facing senior leaders.
For leaders ready to really explore what their position, and their stakeholders, require of them, this is a professional and personal investment in their future.
Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership is celebrating 25 years of cultivating ethical wisdom in leadership for over 4,500 senior executives. The network of alumni includes some of Australia’s most connected leaders.
Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership
Where ethics and practicality meet
Discover your capacity as an ethical leader: one who can apply clarity, reason and a long-range view to those grey areas that keep you awake at night. Explore the ethically challenged decisions you are often expected to make, where the tension between policies and fairness pulls in opposing directions. Using the Cranlana distinct model of shared intellectual enquiry and drawing from the wisdom of ancient philosophers to contemporary innovators, Cranlana’s expert moderators help participants connect theory to their everyday reality.
Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership allows you to pause, consider your next steps and ask:
“What do I stand for?” and…“What am I going to do about it?”

“The program is unique. I really enjoyed the challenge to my own thinking and the perspectives of different ethical frameworks. It’s a must do for the purpose driven leaders of today and tomorrow.”
“The Cranlana school for ethical leadership is like no other leadership training course I have attended. It challenged us to question at a very deep level how we think about what is good and right and just about our decisions and how they may impact those around us. It fundamentally changed how I see myself as a leader and encouraged me to bring my whole moral self to work. Given the complexity of the world and pace of change throughout society, being cognisant of the ethical underpinning of how we behave and act is more important than ever. This course is essential for all current and future leaders.”
“What an amazing, mind-expanding week exploring the different philosophies and perspectives that drive many of the ethical dilemmas and difficult decisions we face. There are no easy answers! But I have new ways to think about how I lead and how I live.”
