Building trust in a digital community: cyber security
With the growth of the digital economy, financial services organisations must continuously build trust when engaging with consumers online.
If recent months in Australia are anything to go by, protecting customers’ personal data, and giving them confidence in how it’s being used, has never been more front of mind.
As an industry invested in digital transformation, it is clear that responsibility for information security is not just one for the IT team. With heightened impacts from recent threats, plus increased focus from APRA, cyber is an industry imperative. The ongoing health of superannuation funds and life insurers industry requires continued collaboration amongst cyber community, traversing organisations, industries, and borders.
At this luncheon briefing, FEAL in partnership with TAL had a conversation on building trust in an increasingly digital world. We heard from Fiona Macgregor, TAL’s Chief Information and Innovation Officer, Steve Glynn, Partner at strategic advisory firm Hakluyt and former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of ANZ bank, and Venkat Balakrishnan, TAL’s General Manager Cyber Security, who provided:
An external perspective on cyber as a national priority. What should we learn from the recent high-profile data breaches?
Putting digital trust into the heart of digital transformation
The CISO perspective – the questions I expect and the ones I don’t get asked
Data – asset or liability in the era of open finance?
